Your 7-day tour from Marrakech begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel, riad, or the airport. The journey takes you through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, with stops along the way to admire and explore picturesque Berber villages. You’ll also visit the 17th-century Kasbah in the charming town of Telouet.
Continuing toward Ouarzazate, you’ll explore the iconic UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and the impressive Kasbah Taourirt, both known for their stunning architecture and cultural significance. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing glass of mint tea, followed by some time to relax and absorb the tranquil desert ambiance at the riad. You can also take a leisurely walk through the charming Merzouga village. To end this exciting day, climb the dunes barefoot and witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. Overnight stay will be at your riad.

Continuing on, you’ll pass through the Ziz Gorges, with their dramatic rocky landscapes, and the Oued Ziz, which leads to the lush Tafilalt oases. Along the way, you’ll visit Errachidia, where you’ll enjoy lunch and experience the warm Berber hospitality.
The journey then takes you through the edge of the Cedar Forest to Azrou, a picturesque village nestled in the hills and named after the Berber word for “rock.” This area is home to the endangered Barbary apes, offering a unique wildlife encounter.

On the 5th day of your 7-day tour from Marrakech, after enjoying breakfast at your Riad, you will set out to explore Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital and oldest city. Your journey begins with a stroll through the bustling souks, vibrant alleyways, and remarkable historical landmarks. The first stop is the majestic Royal Palace gate, which stands between the new and old parts of Fes.
Next, you’ll visit cultural and historical highlights, including the renowned Al-Qarawiyyin University, the traditional Tanneries, and the fascinating Attarine Museum.
After lunch, you’ll explore Fes El Bali, the best area to experience the city, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient and enchanting part of Fes is filled with winding alleyways and iconic Moroccan monuments, such as Bab Boujloud, the main gate to the medina. Fes El Bali also features a vibrant souk where you can admire handmade crafts in colorful Moroccan styles, including leatherwork and metalwork.
