We’ll ascend the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, offering breathtaking views of Berber villages and the surrounding landscapes. Along the way, we’ll visit a women’s cooperative to learn about the traditional process of argan oil production. We’ll then explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After lunch at the Kasbah, we’ll continue through Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Our route will take us through the captivating “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs” and the town of Kalaat Mgouna, renowned for its annual rose festival. Finally, we’ll arrive at our accommodation within the stunning Dades Gorges, where we’ll enjoy dinner and overnight stay at a local riad or hotel.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga dunes – Camel trekking

This itinerary begins with a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll witness the fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” Continuing towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorge, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of ancient mud-brick Berber villages clinging to the valley walls. After a hike beneath the towering 300-meter red cliffs, a popular spot for rock climbers, you’ll journey to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch. From there, you’ll arrive at Merzouga village, where a camel awaits to transport you into the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
